I got very sick eating fresh fruit (a guava) in Mexico. I no longer eat fresh fruit in any country without being sure it has been washed so never in the street.

I know this is off topic but I just wanted to say, you are one gorgeous young lady and have an amazing set of teeth. I think CHAT GPT did a decent job at recommending your trip. The slight delay by the protestors gave you an opportunity to do something else. Love your hat. Regarding safety... I must believe that it will be much safer than some of the large cities in the USA for sure. It was wise to have a guide and don't wonder off doing silly things and to always respect the local culture and customs. I've seen several vloggers travel to places where only a few years back it would be 'unthinkable' to go there but so much of that is due to our own perceptions and of the stories we hear, especially from certain sources.

Very nice list of things to do in chicago! Haven't heard of the surgical museum there but will consider it next time I visit Chicago! Love Lou malnati's....never really had any bad pizza from any of the pizzeria there but didn't really like the pizza from gino's east because crust wasn't really good quality and way too much sauce as well! As for museums...I prefer the museum of science and industry which I slightly liked more than Adler planetarium! If you ever go back to Chicago, I recommend you check out weird chicago tours and par-king mini golf in Lincolnshire, Illinois which has the coolest mini golf courses I have ever been to! but the expensive restaurants use tap water to make your expensive food, i got giardia whilst incuba, lost a lot of weight and had severe treatment when i got home, you cannot drink the cuban tap water in any form unless you boil it as the cubans do in their homes, remember when they serve you hot coffee inthe hotel they have used tap water and not agua purficada to prepare it. best to take those disinfecting drops from mexico with you and add it to all drinks, then wait for it towork, we use these in mexico all over where th tap water is also nnot drinkable. even for tooth brushing you must use bought purified water, i like the water from camaguey whch is bottled and so tasty/. iama cuba expert. rr
